Summer seemed to fly by for my family and now school has started, Elul has started, and it’s almost the High Holidays! My kids and I created a kid-friendly High Holiday activity list so that we can prepare for the High Holidays.
Our goal is to perform one activity from this list a day, starting with September 1st (which just so happened to also be the start of the month of Elul!). Rosh Hashanah falls on September 29th this year so we have 29 days, or 29 activities, to help us review what the High Holidays are, how we celebrate them, and of course to have fun while doing so!
We are super busy so the blog posts corresponding to this list will be delayed–but we should be right on track on Instagram! Follow us there, at @withlovefromima! See how each of these High Holiday activities are not only fun, but are also meaningful and educational. I want my children to learn about these special and oh-so-reflective holidays, but I want them to enjoy doing so! What better way than lots of arts and crafts, sensory play, and songs!!
Shanah Tovah! Enjoy our High Holiday activity list and May your new year be so sweet!!
