Tu B’Av is known as the Jewish Day of Love! It takes place on the 15th of Av. In biblical times, this holiday was a matchmaking day. Women dressed in white and danced in the vineyards outside of Jerusalem. After the destruction of the Second Temple the holiday was not much celebrated. Recently, this holiday has had a revival and is now known as the Jewish Day of Love. Tu B’Av is now celebrated with festivals and songs, as well as acts of love and kindness.
