Passover prep is in full swing at our house and our first, and favorite, activity was this 10 Plagues Passover Sticker Wall! The past few days we’ve been busy with a bunch of Passover 10 plagues activities to review that part of the Passover story. This 10 Plagues Passover Sticker Wall is easy to set up and is a fun way to talk about the 10 plagues while the kids get some hands-on fun bringing those plagues “to life.”
Usually I offer complete freedom for the kids to create their themed sticker walls but this time around I set it up so that we would tell the story as we completed each section of the 10 plagues.
What You’ll Need
- Poster or craft paper
- Tape
- 10 Plague stickers–DIY or store bought
Putting It Together
1. Tape up a piece of paper to the wall and bring out the stickers! For this 10 Plagues Passover Sticker Wall I divided our poster into 10 sections and labeled them with the name of each plague. I had some of the stickers already (we do 10 plague activities every Passover) but if you don’t, they are super easy to make—just print out some relevant images from google or have the kids draw their own. I have white label paper to make our own stickers but you can always print or draw on regular paper and either glue or tape them to the sticker wall.
2. Before we added the stickers to each box we told the very simple story about how Moses asked Pharaoh to “Let My People Go!” but Pharaoh said “No, no, no!” so God sent down a plague of […] and let the kids put up the appropriate sticker. It was a very simple and fun way to tell the 10 plagues part of the Passover story.
Finished and Loving It!
Since we do sticker walls every year (and for multiple occasions throughout the year!), the kids knew what to expect with the 10 Plagues Passover Sticker Wall. They were excited to make some of the stickers and had a lot of fun matching the stickers to the correct square/plague. There was a lot of laughing and pointing while talking about the stickers and the plagues. Hearing how engaged they were totally made this Ima happy and proud!
I love sticker walls because they get the kids engaged in telling stories through their creations. We leave up the sticker wall until after the holiday so it also serves as a review of the learning experience and a fun holiday decoration 👍
After creating this 10 Plagues Passover Sticker Wall we also watched the Shaboom! Passover episode as well as the Frog song, perfect for activities about the 10 plagues 🙂 They also have a video on the 4 questions for later in the week 😉:
