Putting it Together

1.Print out however many kippot you need from the DIY Paper Kippah Template.

2. Cut each template on the solid line around the circle and the solid line from the center of the circle to the edge.

3. Decorate your kippah however you wish. Note that you do not want to decorate the space between the solid (now cut) line and the dotted line. This will be where the kippah folds over so you won’t be able to see any decorations in this space.

You can use crayons or markers to draw dinosaurs. If you have dinosaur stencils or cookie cutters you can trace dinosaurs that way, then color them in. You can also use dinosaur stickers.

Everyone in my family decorated their kippot differently and they all turned out unique and fabulous!

4. Once you are finished decorating the kippah, fold the kippah so that the cut line moves over the space between that line and the dotted line. Tape the cut line on the dotted line. You will now have a slightly pointed hat that looks like a kippah!

5. To wear your kippah, place it gently on your head. You can secure with bobby pins if you’d like.

Finished and Loving It!
