Passover 10 Plague Playdough Fun

Another super simple and engaging favorite Passover activity is our Passover 10 Plagues Playdough Fun experience! Baby Boy has been coming back to it again and again. And now that he knows how to open up the container in which the playdough is stored, I can leave all the contents on a tray and he can explore at will 👍

Putting It Together

1. We made our favorite playdough recipe and dyed it green to symbolize spring–yep, I worked in one of Passover’s symbols as we stirred the playdough! We then put the playdough on our playdough trays.

2. I sent my kids to look for as many plague representations they could find. This is what they came up with. Not all the plagues are represented but we were able to introduce all 10, noting the absent ones, then let them play play play. It’s a great way to get in some learning while they have fun!

Finished and Loving It!

We always have a batch of playdough made in our house. I leave it on a tray on the kitchen table and the kids visit it as they want. Baby Boy often visits a few times a day. It’s great to add themes to the playdough, or just let them get their hands in the dough. Playing with playdough is an amazing open-ended play experience. It’s a great way to explore texture as well as strengthen little hands. And it’s hours of fun for the kids which is always great too!

With this theme, Baby Boy enjoyed calling out the names of the items, the plagues, as he played. Learning through play is such a great way to introduce topics.
