This 10 Plagues Sticker Wall is another super easy, but also meaningful Passover activity. It’s a fun, interactive activity that can easily be developed into a larger storytelling and teaching moment. Or spent as an engaging activity while mom cleans up the chametz!
What You’ll Need
- Large piece of paper, like butcher paper
- Tape or push pins
- 10 plague themed stickers. We bought most of our stickers from Amazon. But Amazon didn’t have everything we needed so I made my own in a super easy way–google the cute image you want, add to a mailing label template, then print onto mailing labels. For the hail, I just cut out circles from blank mailing labels and for the darkness, I colored blank labels with a black crayon. And we always use band-aids for representing the blood plague. Super simple!
Putting It Together
1.Attach your large piece of paper to a wall with either painters tape or push pins.
You can leave the paper plain or decorate it to further tell the Passover story. I added some pyramids to represent Egypt and the slavery of the Jews.
2. Bring out your 10 plague themed stickers and let your children do the rest!
3. If you want, talk to them about each of the Plagues as they stick them to the paper or retell the Passover story.
Finished & Loving It!
Sticker walls are such easy activities and when they are themed like this 10 Plague Sticker Wall, they transcend just having fun to an engaged, meaningful, learning Jewish experience.
Stickers walls are great activities for all ages–toddlers and even elementary age kids!
My kids loved grabbing the various plagues and sticking them to the wall. They called out each plague as they did so, thereby bringing to mind how we state the 10 plagues during our Passover seder. This kind of play prepares them for the seder in a fun and meaningful way.
This Passover 10 Plague Sticker Wall also makes a fabulous decoration for your seder, and will keep the Passover conversation going all 8 days!
I often feel like a majority of my Passover crafts and activities are about the 10 plagues. Obviously there’s more to Passover than that! But the plagues are easy to create active and fun crafts and activities, as well as something that’s easy for kids to remember and repeat. And, as we know, repetition is good for kids and helps them remember. So yes, here’s another activity with jumping frogs but my kids definitely remember that frogs are one of the 10 plagues! Be sure to check our other Passover activities. They aren’t all be about the plagues! And the ones that are still provide lots of fun and meaningful experiences 🙂
