Putting It Together

  1. Make a bonfire outline with the different colored painter’s tape (brown on bottom for logs and the colored tape in pointy shapes above) on a tray, tabletop or even the floor.
  2. Scatter the colored pom poms around the bonfire outline.
  3. Invite your kiddo to sweep the pom poms into the outline with either a paintbrush or play broom (if on the floor).

Finished & Loving It!

My kids loved when we did the Star of David sweep for Yom Ha’atzmaut. I figured they’d love this Lag Ba’Omer invitation as well and I was right!

The set up is so simple and I love that it can be done on a table or on a floor. Whichever location you choose will offer lots of opportunities for fine motor development, concentration, and spatial awareness skill practice.
