Sephardic Spiced Nut Chews

I love nuts, I love nut brittle, and I love Sephardic and Middle Eastern spices so these Sephardic Spiced Nut Chews really hit the spot for a sweet and spiced snack! They also made the perfect addition to my Spice Up Your Pandemic Purim Mishloach Manot theme for this year’s Purim basket!

Sephardic Spiced Nut Chews

Easy and Quick To Make

I love how quick and easy it is to make this recipe. You just mix the sauce, toss in the nuts, add the spices then bake!

The main thing you need to watch for is how quickly and thoroughly the nuts will turn into brittle. You will want to break them into clusters as they cool so they can function as chews and more easily fit into your Mishloach Manot box. If you aren’t worried about them looking like chews, you can wait and break apart when you’re ready to store, but they are quite sticky and harder to break apart at that point. Whenever and however you decide to break them apart they are still delicious!
