Make reading your favorite Passover books even more fun with our Passover Reading Bingo Challenge! For Hanukkah we made our first reading book bingo challenge and have now been doing it for every holiday since. It’s a fun and engaging way to review the symbols and important elements of a holiday and challenge the kids to look for them in their holiday books.
What You’ll Need
- Passover Reading Bingo Challenge free printable
- Space Markers—pen/pencil/crayon, stickers, or whatever other marker you’d like to use. We love this Hebrew encouragement stickers from LeeLaaLou!
- Passover books! Check out our favorites here or order directly through our shop on Bookshop.org (supports independent bookstores, yay!)!
Putting it together
1. Print out the Passover Reading Bingo Challenge printable.
2. Start reading Passover books.
3. Mark off each space as you come across that item in a Passover book. To mark off the space, you can cross off the box, put a sticker on it or use whatever markers you want. Another decision you can make is whether the kids get to mark off multiple boxes from one book or if they can only mark off one box per book.
Finished & Loving It!
Today we made our Passover Book Box and immediately started reading our favorite Passover books and marking off the related elements on our Passover Reading Bingo Challenge! The kids love finding the different symbols or characters in the book and matching them on the bingo sheet.
I always love cuddling up with my kids and reading. Reading holiday books is such an easy and fun way to get in the holiday spirit and I love how excited they are to play this bingo game as part of our holiday tradition.
